I'm so thrilled to see the sunshine out there... it gives me hope that spring is on its way, although we have to wait until the 20th for the official start of spring.
Today's post is going to be very quick... lots to do! But before I run off to tackle my "to-do" list, I've got a fun card for you. I've featured this card at my last couple of parties and everyone has really enjoyed making it. Have a look...
This cute card is a diorama card and it features the new stamp set Heaven Blessed that is on page 20 of the new Occasions Mini-catalog. The diorama look is easy to create! Start with two pieces of cardstock cut at the standard 5 1/2 by 4 1/4. Lay each one on the Simply Scored board horizontally and score at 1/2 inch and 1 inch from either side. Fold the score lines so that the top piece pops forward and the back piece pops back. When punching the large hole, push the punch in as far as it will reach and make sure it is centered before punching. To color the chicks and bunnies, just color directly on the image with the crayon... really, you can just scribble a little color... then blend the color out to the edges of the image with the blender pen. It is soooo easy to color this way! Once you see how easy the Watercolor Wonder crayons are to use and the great results you get, you'll never color any other way. They really are a wonder!
