It is Wednesday evening, and before I head for bed, I'm going to show you some photos of my pretty room at the Hotel Monaco. Tonight my friend Mary and I went to a happy hour sponsored by Lydia Fiedler, one of the moderators on Splitcoast Stampers. There were a few "famous" stampers there, including Jan Tinklenberg (JanTink), Wendy Weixler, and Mindy Bakes (Minders). If you spend any time on Splitcoast forums, you might recognize these names. Oh, and we ran into the famous Mary Fish this afternoon while walking up to the new City Creek shopping mall to have some lunch at The Cheesecake Factory. Just a side note... even thought it was my birthday, I skipped the dessert and had a very healthy salad from the "Skinny Menu." Does that earn me a brownie point or two??
Tomorrow (Thursday) I will be getting up early (for me) so that I can be ready to get on a bus at 8 am for a tour of the Stampin'Up! home office in Riverton, UT, which is about 30 minutes from the Salt Palace. I'll try to take a few photos there as well, so you can see how pretty the Stampin'Up! offices are. Unfortunately, I don't think I'm allowed to take photos of the distribution center, where your orders are picked and packed.
