Only two more days until Sale-a-bration 2014!

Hello stamping enthusiasts!  Or should that be stamping addicts?

Whether you consider yourself  merely crazy about stamping or hopelessly addicted to stamping, either way you'll be happy that Sale-a-bration is starting on Tuesday, January 28th.  What fun it's going to be to pick out a free item for each $50 you spend!  And the freebies continue until March 31st, so there will be plenty of time to get the goodies you like best in the Sale-a-bration brochure.

Here's a quick and easy card made with one of the free Sale-a-bration items, the Good as Gold Card Kit.

I received this card from Shannon Carrier in a swap at our last demo meeting.  She used the basic 3 1/2  by 5 inch card and adhered it to a base of crumb Cake and Pistachio Pudding card stock to make the card the regular 5 1/2 by 4 1/4  size.  Here's what you get in the kit:
                                                               8 card bases
8 envelopes with gold foil liners
1 sheet of gold foil tags
1 sheet of printed die-cut tags
8 pieces of gold elastic cord (each 24 inches long)
8 pieces of Bermuda Bay baker's twine (each 24 inches long)

The cards are printed with the polka-dots on the front and the back, so if you want to, you can cut the cards in half and have 16 polka-dotted panels to use on the fronts of cards.

This card kit would be a great gift for a pre-teen, teenager, or even a busy adult. Or, you could assemble the cards yourself, slide them into a cello bag and give them as a thoughtful gift to a friend.   The cards are quick and easy to put together.... no stamping involved... just punch out and assemble with a glue stick.  And when you are finished, you'll have at least 8 great professional-looking cards that are all ready to go into the mail.
How easy is that?

Thanks for stopping by The Classic Card today.  Hope this Monday finds you starting out your week on a happy note and that the week ahead will be a good one!
Be happy!
Susan
