Rainy Day Stampin'

Hellooo stampers!
It's Monday once again and of course, it's a rainy Monday too!  I guess we could get all cranky, crabby, and generally pushed out of shape and no one would blame us.  But today I have a better idea!  Let's think of all the good things about rain.  I think I can name a few:
     1.  We don't have to worry about drought.  Seriously, there's a whole section of the country that is facing the worst drought in years.
     2.  We don't have to spend a lot of $$ watering our lawns and gardens.
     3.  Everything is beautifully green.
     4.  The rain washes the pollen out of the air, which helps those who suffer with allergies.
     5.  All the moisture ( and lack of sun) is good for our complexions.  It is easier to have young-looking skin when the sun hasn't touched it in years!
     6.  We don't have to worry as much about skin cancer as people in California, Arizona, and all those other sunny spots.
     7.  When it's raining, you can stay inside and stamp instead of having to go outside and pull weeds.
See, there's lots to be happy about when it's raining and let's just keep reminding ourselves of all of these happy things as rainy April, showery May, and soggy June drag on and on.

OK, so now that you have a cheery attitude about rain, let's get to the card.

I know that real Oregonians don't use umbrellas.  I figured this out early on and now that I've lived here for 23+ years, I no longer care if I look like a real Oregonian or not.  I think using a really cute, bright umbrella could do a lot to lift anyone's spirits on a gray, rainy day.  And I think receiving a fun card like this could also give someone a much-needed lift as well.  Why not purchase this cute stamp set and fun paper and make a few cards like this to send to fellow waterlogged Oregonians?  Here's the info you need:

Stamp Set:  Rain or Shine, 126777, 15.95 in clear mount
Designer Paper:  Sunshine and Sprinkles, 126922, 10.95
Daffodil Delight Stamp Pad:  126944, 5.95
Marina Mist Stamp Pad: 126962, 5.95
Ribbon:  3/8 in. Striped Organdy, 129292, Marina Mist, 9.95

Scallop Squares Duo Bigz Die, 120903, 21.95

FREE SHIPPING continues through 10:59 tonight (Monday night), so it won't cost you a cent to have these supplies shipped directly to you.  I promise, it will still be raining when you receive your stamps and accessories and there will be no need to feel guilty while you unpack your goodies and get right to stamping some fun cards.  The weeds will wait.  (Hint:  to color the rhinestones, you'll need to use a permanent marker, such as a Sharpie).

You can order by clicking on the "shop now" button at the top of the blog.  That will take you directly to my online store (www.susanrodgers.stampinup.net).

May you all have a wonderful Monday!  Thanks for stopping in today and I hope you'll come back for another visit on Wednesday.  Who know what marvelous things I'll have to show you then???
Hugs,
Susan
